~If picking up your cake be sure to have a clear and flat surface (preferably the floor) for your cake to sit during transport. Be sure the temperature is cool in the car. (NO HEAT) 

~Do NOT stop to make errands while your cake is in the car! 

~When carrying your cake, be sure to carry from the bottom with both hands.

~When displaying your cake, be sure it is away from heat and sitting flat on a table.

~If your event is to take place outdoors, be sure to keep your cake refrigerated until 30 minutes prior to cutting.

~Be EXTREMELY cautious when cutting your cake!!! Every tier contains straws and could possibly contain skewers or toothpicks.
